Metered LPG for Housing Estates and Villages

There is a growing trend for new housing estates being built in areas that are beyond mains gas supply. These estates will be supplied via a metered LPG scheme.

Villages in the UK have successfully used the Metered LPG Scheme for many years, however, following recent government rulings you can now get better Rates for LPG. If you want to change supplier you no longer have to change the existing tank as was previously the case. This enabled your supplier to set the rates to whatever they wanted to but the new system encourages open competition between LPG suppliers.

Housing Estates and Villages can be supplied Via a Metered LPG Scheme which is the same as the way LPG is supplied to a domestic customer. The Tanks can be installed above or below ground which ever suits the needs or the client.

The way Metered LPG works is simple, each individual property within the Housing Estate is supplied with LPG through a communal tank and is fitted with a gas smart meter which gives you actual usage rather than estimated bills, so you only pay for the LPG you use.

The Supply is automatically kept topped up so you have the peace of mind that you will always have a gas supply. Effectively there is no difference in the LPG scheme and that being offered by mains gas.
